I am not a doctor, and the information I share is not intended to substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content provided here is based on my personal experiences and the knowledge I have gained from working with several different nutritionists, each with a variety of backgrounds and specialties. I have also collaborated with three incredible personal trainers who have different areas of expertise, as well as psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and state advocates to find the best practices that work for me in my healing journey.

I know personally how important it is to understand that when healing from trauma, learning new skills, starting a new job, or moving to a new city, your brain is processing and retaining a lot of new information. In my experience, optimal brain function and recovery are supported by good sleep, plenty of protein, and omega-3 fatty acids. I will not/do not recommend supplements or vitamins.

Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making any significant changes to your diet, exercise routine, or mental health practices. Everyone’s body and mind are unique, and what works for one person may not work for another. This information is intended to share my journey and what has worked for me, and it should be used as a guide for further exploration with your healthcare team.
